This unique park offers 19 acres / 7.5 hectares of peaceful parkland where you can stroll, picnic and enjoy its special features, which include a 200-foot / 60-meter granite map of Tennessee, 31 fountains that represent all of Tennessee's rivers, a 1,400-foot / 436-meter granite timeline chronicling the state's history, an amphitheater, botanical garden and visitor's center. Nashville's Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park was created in 1996 to commemorate 200 years of Tennessee statehood.
